At the beginning we have close-ups/figments of the bodies of the band performing, as in preparation. Brett walking with his back turned to the camera, then as the second erupting part starts, he turns and walks forward.
Have the female protagonist walking backwards, maybe wearing the same (oh of course she's gonna be kinda based on Justin Frishmann, and then as she turns, we cross-cut with close-ups of both their feet walking, but mainly stay with her, then the big have an establishing shot of the whole band playing maybe.
Question whether to have the girl in narrative enigma beforehand, have her in the bath, have her on her back like the beginning of The Pixies's Magdalena.

Shame I can't put it on VHS, but maybe instead she could be discovering an old programme, one of the many Video Programmes I've still got lying around, it's like an ancient manuscript.
